Dave Jacobs

David graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Business & Finance degree and started his career as a financial associate with Jacobs Financial in 2002. Jacobs Financial is an independently owned and operated financial services business in St. Cloud, Minnesota.  In 2007, David became a partner in Jacobs Financial, Inc. He is dedicated to providing financial advice in the areas of retirement, investment, insurance and tax strategies.

David works with professionals, families and businesses throughout the Midwest. He usually conducts a 3-4 meeting process with his clients to ensure they are educated in the financial services process.

David resides in Sartell with his wife and three children. He enjoys spending time and vacationing with his family and friends as well as golfing and coaching and playing soccer.

Shaun Rowley

Shaun has been an advocate and volunteer for Habitat for Humanity for over 10 years in Minnesota, Illinois, and Delaware. He is a true “Minnesota Nice Guy” born and raised in Sauk Rapids. He attended St. Cloud State University and worked in the public health non-profit sector and creative marketing before joining Capital One Bank in 2003. Shaun is currently the National Café Strategy Lead for Capital One 360 where he is responsible for the retail sales, operations, and process management. Away from work Shaun enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with his wife and kids.

Amy Meyer

Amy joined the BankVista team as Controller in August of 2016. Amy started her banking career at American Heritage National Bank as a teller in 2004; she transitioned into public accounting with CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) in 2007 and worked exclusively with financial institution clients on various assurance engagements. In her time at CLA, Amy earned certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

Amy graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a minor in Psychology. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA), and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

Amy resides in Sauk Rapids with her husband and two children. In her free time, Amy enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Patrick Shepard

Patrick Shepard has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Mathematics as well as a master’s degree in Counseling and Student Personnel. He is a Program Manager at Avivo (formerly Resource, Inc.) where he oversees MFIP programming. Over the course of his fourteen years in non-profit management, Patrick has worked collaboratively with CMHFH on many occasions. Patrick believes that CMHFH is a fantastic way for low-income people to stabilize their housing. When housing is stabilized for a family, it makes it easier for them to focus on other area of their life including parenting, employment, and community involvement.

Roger Gertken

Roger grew up on his parents’ farm and has always enjoyed building things. He started working construction in high school and never quit. For 28 years, Roger has worked in many aspects of construction from finish carpentry to project manager, on projects ranging from residences to churches. Roger believes that CMHFH has a history of promoting success and offers a hand up, not a hand out. He is  excited to be part of helping families who would not otherwise be able to purchase a home and looks forward to working alongside fellow board members.
