ReStore – Request Pick Up
We are so grateful for the donations that allow Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity ReStore to operate and serve our customers and the community as a whole. If you have items you would like to donate, but are unable to deliver them to our store, our pickup service can come to you and pick up your donated items. To donate using our pick up service, follow the steps below.
The first step is to determine if your items are able to be accepted as a donation by CMHFH ReStore. More information about what items we can and cannot accept can be found here. Items that are not able to be accepted cannot be picked up.
To use our resources effectively and efficiently, we must limit the items that we are able to pick up. Below is a list of the items CMHFH ReStore is able to pick up with the service:
- Large Furniture Items (Couches, Loveseats, Recliners, Hutches)
- Complete Dining Room Sets (Minimum of 4 Chairs)
- Appliances (Refrigerator, Stoves, Washers, Dryers)
- Kitchen Cabinet Sets
If you are donating items on the above list and would like CMHFH ReStore to pick them up, taking photos of these items help us to be prepared for the pickup. You can easily submit photos of your donation at the bottom of the form!
Within 5 business days, a CMHFH ReStore employee will contact you to schedule a convenient pickup time. If for some reason CMHFH ReStore is unable to pick up your items you will also be notified. Decisions regarding the ability to pick up your items are final. If you are a business owner, or if you have further questions regarding the Request Pickup policy, please contact Andy Roden.
- PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE UNABLE TO PICK UP ITEMS THAT ARE NOT IN A GARAGE OR ON THE GROUND LEVEL! IF YOUR DONATION IS UPSTAIRS OR IN THE BASEMENT, YOU MUST MOVE IT TO A GARAGE OR TO THE GROUND LEVEL!
